3. Using short switching period can reduce the amount of adsorbent, reduce the number of adsorption tower and adsorption valve as much as possible, so as to greatly reduce the equipment area and total investment. For VPSA oxygen plant, power consumption is the most important factor to determine the cost of oxygen production, and also the most important index to measure the advanced technology and economic performance of oxygen production equipment, which is directly related to the operation cost and economic benefits of the plant.
Therefore, the long-term reliability of oxygen generation equipment must be guaranteed by reasonable design of oxygen generation process and process. On the premise of ensuring the reliability of the whole equipment, appropriate measures should be taken to increase the amount of adsorbent and reduce the desorption pressure ratio.
